So, with Christmas just passed and those socks just didn’t cut it for your DJ friend/partner. Whilst you ponder what to get next time, we figured we’d put together a list that is a little outrageous, a little bit expensive and must-have for any DJ (or us at Decoded) and audio lover!

3. GEARBOX TRANSPARENT TURNTABLE – RRP £549

Improving on the original Gearbox Automatic design, the MkII model features an upgraded belt drive with an aluminium pulley to ensure better speed stability. The electronics have also been uprated for better all-round performance, while the Gearbox Automatic app is now slicker and easier to use than ever. A plug-and-play turntable that plugs a gap in the portable turntable sector. 6. DAFT PUNK FRAMED PRINT – RRP £216

After 28 years, the iconic and enigmatic duo is no more, Daft Punk has broken up. Despite rarely being caught without their signature masks, Daft Punk was and is easily the most recognizable electronic music duo to take the stage. The pair formed in 1993 in Paris and are photographed here in that same city just days before the release of their second live album titled Alive 2007. 8. BRIONVEGA RADIOFONOGRAFO RECORD CONSOLE – RRP £12028

Designed in 1965 by international legends Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, the Radiofongrafo is an iconic work of modern industrial design. Handcrafted in Italy according to its 1965 specs, the console includes a Project turntable with an Ortofon cartridge, AM/FM radio, preamp audio jack for headphones, and multiple audio outputs for connecting external sources like a subwoofer or an additional amp. 9. BRIONVEGA RR231 BLACK EDITION TOTEM STEREO SYSTEM – RRP £16840

Part sound system, part artwork, Brionvega’s RR231 Totem is a timeless design. Designed by Mario Bellini in 1971, it has a central unit housing a Pro-Ject turntable with an Ortofon cartridge, an AM/FM/DAB+ radio, and a 125W + 125W self-limited amplifier. The latter powers a pair of loudspeakers that incorporate a reflex woofer, a mid-woofer, and a tweeter and unfold like wings from the central unit.
