Russian experimentalist Kate NV is releasing album ‘Room for the Moon’ via Brookyln’s Rvng Intl. this June.

The Moscow-based artist’s album is inspired by Russian and Japanese pop music and film from the ’70s and ’80s, as well as children’s performance shows from the ’80s, and features vocals sung in a mixture of Russian, French and English.

It follows 2018 album ‘для, FOR ‘, a set of ten surrealist electronic tracks made using supernatural-sounding synths.

Listen back to Kate NV’s deep-diving DJ Mag podcast, filled with trippy minimalism and cinematic psychedelics.

Room for the Moon is released by RVNG Intl. on June 12th 2020 and is available to pre-order via Bandcamp.

During these uncertain times for musicians amid the outbreak of coronavirus, we encourage fans to purchase artist’s music on Bandcamp, which is waiving its revenue share on any music sold this Friday.
