“Back in college, I went to a club with my friend and she introduced me to the DJ. This DJ ended up teaching me how to use a DJ set. After that, I started performing at private parties,” YASMIN recalls.
It wasn’t long before her talent caught the eye of an artist manager, leading to her first tour in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. At a time when female DJs were a rarity, YASMIN quickly gained recognition, establishing herself as a prominent name in the industry.

“I play at so many different kinds of parties, from clubs to weddings and product launches. What I play depends on the type of show and venue, but one thing always stays the same: I love to express myself through music and share my love for house music with everyone.”

Expanding Horizons: From Indonesia to Amsterdam

“In Indonesia, I know the trends and what my audience wants. I often play mashups and top 40 music. In Amsterdam, I can focus on house music, which I love! It’s exciting to introduce new releases and see the crowd vibe with it,” she shares.
Recently, YASMIN collaborated with Braaheim, ILYAA, and EMMY on a remix of a TikTok viral hit. While this track resonates with her Indonesian audience, its international appeal makes it perfect for her Amsterdam sets.

Looking ahead, YASMIN is setting her sights high:
“My biggest goal is to make my music go around the world and land number one hits on Billboard. I want to be the ‘Taylor Swift of DJs’—haha!”
