Yeule has dropped a new single ‘Softscars’. Stream it below.

It’s the title track from the Singaporean songwriter and producer Nat Ćmiel’s upcoming LP via Ninja Tune. Released digitally on 22nd September, with a physical release earmarked for 6th October, the album follows Yeule’s 2022 LP ‘Glitch Princess’. 

‘Softscars’ follows on from recent singles including ‘Inferno’ and ‘Ghosts’. Speaking about the track in a press release, London-based Yeule said: “In the garden of my mind, it’s dark and prickly sweet and sticky. And just like that the scar in my heart slashed across the center, the most precious one was made.”

On the subject of the album, Yeule added: “I was forcing myself to separate myself from my artist persona and trying to tone myself down. Because I felt like people wouldn’t like me if I was really that.”
