Wiley to perform series of drive-in gigs this summer
News
Wiley has announced a series of special drive-in gigs, taking place across the UK in August.
The grim pioneer will play seven shows between 2nd and 10th August, performing in Bolton, Leeds, Bristol, Liverpool, Milton Keynes, and twice in London. You can see the full details below.
Wiley is the latest artist to be announced for a string of drive-in gigs this summer, with Utilita’s Live From The Drive-In series already confirming acts including Dizzee Rascal, The Streets and Gary Numan for appearances from the end of July onwards. Punters will be provided with their own dedicated area next to their car where they can stand, or bring folding chairs to sit in compliance with social distancing requirements. 300 vehicles will be able to attend each show.
Wiley has released two albums this year. ‘The Godfather 3’, released in early June, was reportedly to be his final album, but was shortly followed by the 19-track ‘Boasty Gang’ on Windrush Day.
