Watch Avicii documentary, I’m Tim, and final Ibiza live show on Netflix now

Netflix has debuted the Avicii documentary I’m Tim, as well as footage from the artist’s final Ibiza live show.

The film debuted at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and follows the late artist’s success amid hit singles and big gigs, up until his tragic death by suicide in 2018. 

The late EDM star, real name Tim Bergling, narrates the film, which shows him playing shows around the world, producing music and spending time with his friends and family. It takes in never-seen-before footage and interviews with him and others in his life including David Guetta, Nile Rodgers and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

“Before there was Avicii, there was just Tim,” the film’s synopsis reads. “For the first time through his own words, witness the journey of a shy but prodigious musical talent who would soon become one of the defining artists of his generation.”

Also available to watch is Bergling’s full final live performance at Ushuaïa Ibiza, which took place on 28th August, 2016. Partial footage of his last-ever show at the venue was previously posted online in 2023.

In October, a number of his personal items were sold at a charity auction in aid of the Tim Bergling Foundation, raising over $750,000.
