Watch a new documentary celebrating the “intrinsic value” of club culture

The organisers of Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) have shared a new mini-documentary celebrating “the intrinsic value of club culture, electronic music, raving, and all the unique connections we make in between”.

Dance is a Rave-olution was filmed during ADE’s comeback edition of 2021, which featured sets from Avalon Emerson, Dave Clarke and Speedy J, as well as showcasing a range of activities focused on South Korea. The documentary captures performances from Colin Benders, Honey Dijon, Hyperaktivist, Luke Slater and Octo Octa, among others.

Located in various venues across the city of Amsterdam, ADE is a five-day event covering all facets of electronic music culture, with dedicated conference programming, live music and DJ/artist performances, as well as an extensive arts and culture programme.

ADE 2022 is set to take place on 19th-22nd October, with the line-up yet to be revealed. Make sure you pre-register for this year’s ADE Pro Pass and grab an early bird rate before ticket sales go live very soon.

Directed by Anna Bogomolova, video director at Blitzkickers, Dance is a Rave-olution is available to stream for free now via ADE’s YouTube channel. Watch it below.
