Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza founders to open new “hyperclub” on the island next summer

A new “hyperclub” is set to open in Ibiza next summer from the team behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza.

[UNVRS] — pronounced ‘Universe’ — will open in summer 2025 near the village of San Rafael. It’s the latest venture from international clubbing institution, The Night League, who took to social media this evening (19th August) to announce the new venue.

The announcement follows a creative promotional campaign featuring a viral ‘UFO sighting’ snapped on the island last month. The video, which has garnered over 52 million views, was followed up by a series of clips from Will Smith, who is seen trying to uncover the truth about the stunts connection to the new “hyperclub”. You can watch the video here.

“This campaign has been truly out of this world,” said Yann Pissenem, CEO and founder of The Night League, the company that presides over both Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. “Revealing the name with a viral sensation is just the beginning. Seeing so many media outlets, celebrities, and influencers engage with the story has been incredible and having the possibility to reveal the brand with such an iconic actor like Will Smith was a dream come true.

“Now that the truth is out there, we can’t wait to welcome everyone to our new universe in 2025 as we launch the world’s first Hyperclub,” he added.

Following in the footsteps of Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, which draw in over 1.5 million visitors each season, [UNVRS] hopes to “set the stage for the next generation of nightlife and entertainment” on the island. The venue will combine the classic elements of a nightclub with the “infrastructure, scale and ambition of arena events”, with some fans speculating that [UNVRS] will support a 10,000-capacity crowd.
