Underground Resistance announces remastered vinyl reissue and three new EPs

Detroit label Underground Resistance has announced a wave of new releases, all due out in March and April.

Among four upcoming releases is a remastered reissue of Perception and Mike Banks’ 2004 single, ‘Windchime’, with the other three encompassing new and never-released-before material.

One of those is Wavejumpers’ ‘The Sunken Treasure’ EP, which may be a Drexciya-related project based on its artwork and track titles. Press text accompanying the EP says: “The Spawn has escaped. Wavejumpers spotted off the coast of Scotland. Can you decode The Sound that lurks in the fog?”

Completing the new releases is a self-titled EP from Mana De Fuego, and an EP from Detroit spoken word artist Mike Ellison. The latter comes with a remix of the title track, ‘Covalence’, by Mark Flash.

An old remix credited to Underground Resistance features on Kraftwerk’s forthcoming remixes compilation, out in March.

The Detroit collective will also be making an appearance at this summer’s We Out Here festival.
