Tomorrowland to host live stream this week in place of winter edition

Tomorrowland festival will host a live stream this week in place of its cancelled 2021 winter edition.
It’s been a huge week for Tomorrowland fans. Earlier this week, the Belgian festival officially announced that it will be taking place this year across two weekends in August and September, and on Monday (21st), Tomorrowland also revealed that a surprise live stream would be taking place this week as a tribute to its cancelled winter edition.
Taking place this Thursday, 25th March, the livestream will come live from the ski resort of Alpe d’Huez — the home of Tomorrowland Winter — which the festival says will transform into a “stunning concert venue for a magical winter wonderland show on top of the French Alps”.
Featuring an all-French line-up, Martin Solveig and Kungs will go B2B for the first time ever, with Klingande and Ofenbach also lined up for exclusive performances. The performances will be streamed from an altitude of more than 2,000 meters, with views of the Alpe d’Huez and surrounding mountains.
Speaking about the stream and the forthcoming back-to-back performance, Martin Solveig said: “The COVID-19 pandemic made us realize how precious small things are. We’re on top of the world here at Alpe d’Huez and feel very lucky to be part of this. It’s our first time playing a b2b set together, really exciting!”
Tune in to the Tribute to Tomorrowland Winter on Thursday 25th March at 4PM CET exclusively via tomorrowland.com.
