Tomorrowland releases limited-edition scented candles

Tomorrowland has created a range of scented candles to celebrate its 20th anniversary in collaboration with Belgian fragrance company Baobab Collection.

The limited-edition set is scented with pear, lily of the valley and moss, and “draws its inspiration from the unique nature and beautiful lawns of the De Schorre recreation area in Boom” where Tomorrowland is held, the official description reads.

The smell is described as “fresh, green and a touch spicy with soothing floral notes”, and comes in hand-blown glass jars decorated with “organic shapes and elements from nature, such as beautiful flowers, butterflies, leaves and plants” presented in the Art Nouveau style.

The candle is accompanied by a 32-hour playlist accessed via a QR code in the packaging. The music ranges from ambient and jazz to Afro-house, neoclassical, pop and more, including tracks by Maribou State, Bonobo, Keinemusik and Four Tet, amongst others.

Encompassing five different sizes of candle and a diffuser, the collection ranges in price from £42 up to £539, available via the Tomorrowland store.

Tomorrowland also released its own perfume called the Elixir Of Life this year, and has introduced new stages inspired by storylines from throughout its history.

Last year, LA-based fragrance brand, Discothèque, released a range of candles inspired by iconic nightclubs. In 2022, a US company produced a candle designed to smell like a record store.
