Tomorrowland releases fantasy adventure novel, The Great Library of Tomorrow

A new fantasy novel from Tomorrowland, The Great Library of Tomorrow, is set for publication tomorrow, 12th November.

Penned by Tomorrowland’s creative and editorial team alongside Mexican author Rosalia Aguilar Solace, it’s the first book in the electronic music festival giant’s three-part fantasy novel series, The Book of Wisdom, which was announced earlier this year.

The Book of Wisdom’s storyline follows hero Helia, a Sage of Hope for the Great Library of Tomorrow, and her battle against “a deadly figure known to them as the Ash Man”, according to the book’s synopsis. It will be published internationally, with translations in multiple languages based on region.

In a press statement announcing its publication, Tomorrowland wrote: “After years of world-building and storytelling, Tomorrowland is now delving into its rich lore to bring its fiction from the festival grounds to bookshops worldwide.”

Taking place across two weekends each year in the Belgian town of Boom, Tomorrowland has grown to become one of electronic music’s biggest events since its 2005 debut, and was voted the World’s No.1 Festival in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals 2024 poll.

Each year’s production features a magical theme, with production built to immerse attendees within its storyline and fantastical setting. This year’s edition took on the theme of ‘LIFE’, set in “a vibrant era in Silvyra, a world of lush nature, when the conjunction of two moons is about to happen”.

Last year, Tomorrowland hosted an immersive VR exhibition in Barcelona, also called The Great Library of Tomorrow. Another immersive experience from the festival opened in Madrid last month. 

Tomorrowland’s first fantasy novel, The Rise of Adscendo, was released in 2023, following the festival first announcing its move into publishing in 2022.
