Tomorrowland launches record label with new Afrojack project

News

Tomorrowland has launched a new record label, Tomorrowland Music, and its first release comes in the form of a collaboration between Afrojack and Chico Rose.

Tomorrowland Music has released the pair’s new track, ‘You Got The Love’, also marking the launch of a new concept from Afrojack that he’s dubbed Never Sleeps. The new concept, a press release explains, sees Afrojack aim to bring like-minded people together through throwing parties and releasing musical collaborations.

‘You Got The Love’ is the first of a number of Never Sleeps releases that Afrojack has lined up for release via Tomorrowland Music. Chico Rose says he and Afrojack first started working on the project two years ago, and have “worked for six months straight together in the studio” to ready ‘You Got The Love’ for release.

Speaking about the concept, Afrojack said: “Never Sleeps is a project which is basically just there to emphasize dance music built for the festivals and clubs. Within the music industry, there’s a lot of pressure on artists to keep their brands relevant or to try new things and challenges. With Never Sleeps, it’s just about the music and the people – making music for people on the dancefloor and celebrating life.

“It’s not just me, it’s me and other artists – whoever feels like they would love to do something together. No pressure, no genre. It’s just all about the music. Our first release ‘You Got The Love’ feels like a full-on dance music festival anthem and that’s why we started to collaborate with Tomorrowland and its brand-new label Tomorrowland Music. Very exciting!”

Earlier this month, Tomorrowland shared an aftermovie for its 2021 virtual festival, for which Afrojack played a set.

Full ticket details for the return of Tomorrowland Winter, this March, were also revealed earlier this month.
