Tomorrowland 2025 weather forecast: latest update
Tomorrowland 2025 begins later this week in the Belgian town of Boom, with the weather forecast settling as the megafestival nears.
The first weekend of Tomorrowland’s flagship event, running Friday, 18th July through Sunday, the 20th, is off to a warm start, with a high of 27ºC and light winds, according to BBC Weather. Temperatures are expected to stay in that range throughout the weekend, slightly cooling by Sunday, although the risk of rain showers creeps up on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, maxing out at 60% mid-afternoon on Sunday.
Yr, the Norwegian Meteorological Institute’s weather service, predicts a slightly less wet, but also a slightly less sunny forecast for this upcoming weekend in Boom, with temperatures peaking as high as 33ºC on Saturday 19th.
For Tomorrowland’s second weekend, 25th to 27th July, BBC Weather expects temperatures to be slightly cooler, with highs of 26ºC, but the risk of rain will be present at the start, currently a 35% chance on Friday afternoon, which should clear up for Saturday and Sunday. Gentle breezes are expected to soothe festivalgoers for Tomorrowland’s final two days.
As this year’s festival approaches, Tomorrowland has revealed the set times and streaming programme, with Charlotte de Witte confirmed to be the first DJ to open and close the Main Stage on the same day (19th). It will also be continuing its tradition of encouraging young DJ talent by inviting a number of 10- to 17-year-olds to perform at this year’s festival. There’ll be a memorial to Avicii, as well as an official release of his Tomorrowland sets, to mark seven years since his untimely death.
The Tomorrowland 2025 line-up features more than 600 artists performing on 16 stages. The Main Stage alone will host the likes of Armin van Buuren, Alok, Charlotte De Witte, Amelie Lens, ANNA, Job Jobse, Swedish House Mafia, David Guetta and more — see the full line-up here.
Tomorrowland – recently voted the No. 1 festival in the world — plans to expand its offerings abroad grow with official confirmation of a debut China event this winter, and the previously rumoured Thailand edition is progressing towards reality as the CEO met with the Thai prime minister in June.
