TOKiMONSTA and Suzi Analogue re-release 2012 collaborative mini-album, ‘Analogue Monsta: BOOM’: Listen

TOKiMONSTA and Suzi Analogue’s 2012 mini-album ‘Analogue Monsta: BOOM‘ is now available digitally for the first time. Listen to it below.

The US producers’ 11-track collaborative record, originally released exclusively in a limited-edition vinyl run, is also getting a new vinyl pressing with remastered audio. Young Art Records will release the special edition mixed colour 12-inch on 16th February, 2024.

“The Analogue Monsta project was truly ahead of its time”, Suzi Analogue said in a press statement. “We felt a strong calling to propel it into the future, recognizing the trailblazing potential it held. It provided a vital space for femme-identifying producers and songwriters to fearlessly explore beats, lyrics and tempos with us. This experimental journey not only influenced the current musical landscape but is poised to leave a lasting mark on the soundscape of the future.”

TOKiMONSTA released a more recent collaboration, the ‘Eats the Tale’ single with Rochelle Jordan, this past August.

Suzi Analogue shared tracks from her ‘ZONEZ’ series on vinyl for the first time last year with the ‘Infinite Zonez’ compilation

Listen back to Suzi Analogue’s 2021 entry in the Regonise mix series, and revisit TOKiMONSTA’s September 2019 cover story for DJ Mag North America about reclaiming her art.
