The Weeknd has released a remix of ‘Sacrifice’ with Swedish House Mafia, who also co-produced the original track. You can watch the video for it below.

The accompanying music video acts as a sequel to the original, featuring ritualistic, synchronised dancers in a basketball court. 

The original song appears on The Weeknd’s latest album, ‘Dawn FM’, which was released last week. The new remix appears on the deluxe version, ‘Dawn FM (Alternate World)’, released today (12th January)  which also features a remix of the album’s first single, ‘Take my Breath’, by Agents of Time.

Swedish House Mafia posted a teaser of the track on Instagram last week. The caption read, “We’re extremely honoured to be part of this journey! Congratulations Brother!” 

Collaborations between The Weeknd and the Swedish trio were teased in September last year via the artist’s Instagram.
