The Weeknd and Anitta share new single and video, ‘São Paulo’: Watch

The Weeknd and Anitta have teamed up for a new single and video.

Directed by FREEKA, the creepy, New York-set visual features a pregnant Anitta and a singing belly, created using FX by Manny Lemus. Check it out below.

The new track follows the Weeknd’s recent sold-out performance in São Paulo, during which he brought out surprise guests Anitta and Playboi Carti and raised funds for the Brazilian Soul Fund of BrazilFoundation, an initiative to support communities impacted by natural disasters and economic hardships in the south of Brazil.

The show was livestreamed and broadcast exclusively on the Weeknd’s YouTube channel.

Last month, the Canadian popstar unveiled his new single and video ‘Dancing In The Flames’, which marked the first full track to be unveiled from his forthcoming album ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’. He has yet to confirm a release date for the album.

In 2022, Anitta teamed up with Missy Elliott for disco-focused single ‘Lobby’, which was brought to life by a video directed by Arrad.
