Swedish House Mafia release new single, ‘See The Light feat. Fridayy’: Listen
Swedish House Mafia have unveiled a new single, ‘See The Light’ featuring vocals from Fridayy. Listen to the track below.
The single, which sports a blend of bright synths and heavy kick drums, is the trio’s first since announcing the end of the ‘Paradise Again’ album era this past weekend. “Thank you for being part of this journey…”, the trio shared in a statement on their website, “we can now see the light upon us.”
The DJ supergroup – comprised of Steve Angello, Axwell, and Sebastian Ingrosso – played the new track in their closing set at Miami’s ULTRA Music Festival earlier this spring, which you can watch in full here. The track will also feature on the soundtrack EA Sports’ new Formula 1 game.
To celebrate the single’s drop, the trio have revealed that they will be playing an intimate show at E1 London this Saturday (27th May). Sign up for free entry to that here. The trio will cap off their UK takeover on the main stage of Creamfields South on Sunday 28th May.
Speaking on the release, Swedish House Mafia said: “We missed our UK family and can’t wait to be back to celebrate the release and the new chapter of what’s to come.”
Earlier this month, Swedish House Mafia’s ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ was named Tomorrowland’s biggest anthem in this year’s Top 1000 countdown.
Swedish House Mafia have had a huge 12 months of collaborations, linking up with Fred Again.. on ‘Turn On The Lights again.. (feat. Future)’, which is lifted from the London DJ’s ‘Actual Life 3’ LP. The group also collaborated with The Weeknd on a single from the soundtrack of the new Avatar: The Way Of Water, titled ‘Nothing Is Lost’.
The trio also recently announced that they will be headlining Ushuaïa Ibiza this summer, returning to the location of last year’s historic live Essential Mix. A slew of other high profile residencies have also been confirmed for the beach club’s coming season, including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Calvin Harris, and Armin van Buuren.
