Steve Aoki has been working on a theatre production about the Mozart family.

Aoki, who came 10th in last year’s Top 100 DJs poll, will debut his new show, Mozart² – The New Musical, at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2021.

Featuring Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark star Justin Matthew Sargent as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ruby Lewis as his sister Nan, the production will explore the life and struggles of both 18th century musicians.

While the original score is credited to Gregory Nabours, music for the production is credited not only to Steve Aoki, but various other EDM artists.
