Slimzos releases 29-track compilation, ‘TIME VOLUME 6’: Listen

Slimzos has released a new 29-track compilation, ‘TIME VOLUME 6’. You can listen to tracks from the album below.

Showcasing sounds from across the grime and dubstep spectrum, the collection reflects the sound’s growing international presence. Contributions appear courtesy of artists from the UK, as well as the US (Dust, Bookz, Gordo Dubz, Flora.noise, D:Form, Rational Soul, Hellacopta), Canada (Tripta, Shakey Legs, M4XW311), Australia (Deathtrap), Russia (Oddkut, ML and Anned), India (DARN), Japan (Void), Ireland (Sertone), Wales (LSN) and New Zealand (Impulse).

Run by Rinse FM co-founder Slimzee, who stood down from his residency on the station and appeared in DJ Mag’s feature on treasured dubplates last spring, Slimzos ranked in our 2023 Compilations of the Year list with the previous instalment in the ‘TIME’ series. The release also picked up a nomination at the Best Of British Awards.

Slimzee has delivered a track on ‘TIME VOLUME 6’ in the shape of ‘Microwave Link’ from his AS.IF KID collaborative project, E3 Breaks.

In October, legendary London party FWD>>, often considered one of the foremost incubators of grime, launched a new label with a collaboration between Slimzee, Boylan, and Riko Dan.
