Skrillex drops new single with Boys Noize, ‘Fine Day Anthem’: Listen

Skrillex has teamed up with Boys Noize for the new single, ‘Fine Day Anthem’, out via OWSLA/Boysnoize Records/Atlantic. Listen to the track below.

The single lands as the first collaborative music the pair have released together since 2019’s ‘Turn Off The Lights’ EP, and samples Opus III’s classic dance hit, ‘It’s a Fine Day’, released in 1992.

First teased during Skrillex, Fred again.. & Four Tet’s momentous headline set at Coachella 2023 and more recently during a last-minute Skrillex B2B Boys Noize set in Berlin, the four-on-the-floor track has become a staple in the resurgent DJ’s sets over the past year.

The single features cover art designed by London-based digital artist, Thomas Harrington Rawle. Taking inspiration from ’90s rave photos, the original piece of artwork was created through a combination of manual digital painting and studio photography.

Skrillex first teased the collaboration on Instagram back in May; sharing a snippet of the single as part of a carousel post and tagging Boys Noize in the caption, along with other likely album collaborators, ISOxo, Flowdan, PEEKABOO, G-REX, Hamdi, zeina, Miss Lafamilia, and more.

The post followed the news that Skrillex’s third album of the year was in the works, following the release of back-to-back albums ‘Quest For Fire’ and ‘Don’t Get Too Close’ in February. Fans can expect “a string of singles” in the weeks ahead, Skrillex revealed in late May.

‘Fine Day Anthem’ is out now. Listen to the collaborative single below.
