Shy One debuts on Numbers with new EP, ‘Gyallis Spiral’

Shy One is making her debut on Glasgow’s Numbers label with a new EP.

The two-track ‘Gyallis Spiral’ EP arrives on 7th June and “hits a sweet spot of loopy, caterpillaring melodies and insistent percussion,” according to a Numbers post on Instagram.

Both tracks, ‘Gyallis Spiral’ and ‘TNTC’, reflect the “easygoing energy beamed out on the DJ and producer’s weekly breakfast show for NTS Radio, Soup to Nuts.

This new EP follows 2022’s five-tracker ‘From The Floor To The Booth’, which explored everything from broken beat and soul to garage and grime. 

In winter 2023, Shy One completed a BBC Radio 1 residency.
