Secretsundaze to celebrate 20 years with series of London parties
News
Secretsundaze have announced a run of parties across London to celebrate the party’s 20th anniversary.
Today (20th January) the promoter and label unveiled the first five events of a year-long series dubbed 20 Years of Secretsundaze. Launching at Fabric on 30th January with an all-day-long set, following events will be held at Colour Factory, Venue MOT, Oval Space and multiple Hackney Wick venues, with more to be announced later in the year.
Co-founders and residents Giles Smith and James Priestley will anchor each party alongside guests including Jeremy Underground, Paramida, Galcher Lustwerk, Ash Lauryn, Jamie Tiller, Shy One and more.
Speaking of Secretsundaze’s anniversary, James Priestley said, “we feel super lucky to have been able to do what we love for so long and we really wouldn’t be here without the support of our incredible community, a constant source of inspiration and strength.
“Whilst it’s great to take stock on reaching the 20-year milestone, we’re even more excited about what the future holds and the various different directions we’re planning to take things. Long live Sundaze!”
The party first began when founders James and Giles started organising parties for friends. Over the last two decades, it’s hosted events at London’s most famous venues, as well as establishing a residency in Barcelona and appearing at international festivals.

In 2020, the party launched its Dance 2 Sustain initiative which takes action against climate change by implementing a £1 “green tax” on tickets, reusable plastic cups at events and negotiating sustainable transport for artists.
