Search for Glastonbury sets based on genre with new online tool

A Glastonbury fan has built a tool to help festivalgoers keep track of the hundreds of DJ sets taking place throughout the long weekend.

The Glastonbury DJ Bible, created by digital culture analyst and DJ Tom Randall, helps attendees make sense of what’s playing across Worthy Farm this weekend, 25th through 29th June. Users can sort through the line-up by stage, set times and genre to make sure they don’t miss anticipated performances in the dance-focused areas like Block9, Arcadia, Silver Hayes, Shangri-La, Glade, San Remo, West Holts Bar and more.

“I made the DJ Bible because I was tired of digging through spreadsheets and PDFs every year”, Randall said in a press statement. “This site makes it easy to see who’s playing, where, and what kind of sound you’re in for — from the legends at Arcadia to the underground fire at Genosys.”

The guide allows users to filter by primary and secondary genre tags for more detailed breakdowns, as well as use a live map to find out what’s playing near them right at that moment — plus estimates on the time it takes to get there.

This year’s Glastonbury festival has expanded some dance music areas, including Silver Hayes, Shangri-La, Arcadia and The Glade. Check out the updated site map here.

Organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that the festival sold “a few thousand less tickets” to avoid overcrowding, a common complaint and concern about last year’s edition. She’s also said Glastonbury will take a fallow year in 2026.

Ahead of last year’s festival, Manchester-based programmer Geoffrey Prytherch created an interactive map that compares the size of Glastonbury’s grounds with anywhere in the world.
