Saffron Records releases new EP and sample packs with Fiyahdred, Yushh, Private Joy

Saffron Records has released a new three-track EP featuring tracks by Fiyahdred, Yushh and Private Joy.

Marking the first instalment of a new series called ‘Saffron Presents’, it features brand new cuts by each artist, as well as an accompanying sample pack of loops and atmospheric sounds made by the producers.

Other producers are invited to recreate and rework the sounds from the sample pack in their own style, a press release accompanying the new record said.

Last August, DJ Mag premiered Fiyahdred’s Club Djemebe-released track ‘Winning Train’.

Earlier this year, Saffron and Black Artist Database (B.A.D.) collaborated on a series of online music production workshops for women, trans, and non-binary people worldwide. Last year, Saffron Records also put out the first single from producer Marla Kether, followed by feature collaborations with Onipa frontman K.O.G., Solomon O.B. and Arlo Parks’ keys player, Madeleine.
