Rockwell and Novelist link up on politically charged new single, ‘Peak’: Listen

Novelist and Rockwell have teamed up for a new track with a sharp message called ‘Peak’. Listen to it below.

The London MC takes aim at the UK government over the cost of living crisis with lyrics like:”The price of everything is going up / I’ve had to add another zero to my fee, I’ve had enough / The government don’t care about a thing / They don’t want to see or hear a brother win.” A vocal sample of Eddie Dempsey of the RMT Union filters in:”The general public in this country know they are being mugged”.

“I struggle to articulate how much of an honour for me it is to collaborate with Novelist on ‘Peak’”, Rockwell said.”From the recording session we did, the bars mirrored the instrumental and came together in an effortless fashion.”

Novelist recently collaborated with Mall Grab and D Double E on ‘Times Change’.

Listen to ‘Peak’, out now via Rockwell’s Obsolete Medium.
