Rick Ross says a ‘VERZUZ’ battle with JAY-Z is “a possibility”, although the event would be more of a celebration than a battle according to the Miami rapper.

The pair are good friends and regular collaborators, having released tracks such as ‘The Devil Is A Lie’ and ‘FuckWitMeYouKnowIGotIt’, with JAY-Z helping Ross get signed to seminal label, Def Jam Records.

In an interview with The Real promoting new album ‘Richer Than I Ever Been’, Ross was asked who he would want to compete with as part of the ongoing rap battle series conceived by Swiss Beatz and Timbaland, with previous instalments seeing Bone Thugs-N-Harmony going up against Three 6 Mafia, Ghostface Killah taking on Raekwon, Ja Rule with Fat Joe, and Method Man against Redman.

His response was simply: “JAY-Z… Yeah, why not?… To me, that’s what makes ‘VERZUZ’ special, because it brings out the best in both parties.”
