Reprezent Radio announces free summer training programme for aspiring radio makers

News

Brixton’s Reprezent Radio is giving aspiring radio producers and presenters a chance to develop and hone their skills as part of a new free training programme next month.

Running from August 2nd-29th, and open to people aged 18-24, the Creative Studios London project will give participants a chance to produce and present a live radio show on Reprezent.

“Learning from major names in the broadcasting world, you’ll master on-mic and interviewing skills, transform raw audio into slick, professional-sounding features and explore how to get your show out there,” a press release says. “You’ll get direct exposure to the industry and find out what broadcasting is like from the inside.”

A number of figures involved in Reprezent, as well as the wider music industry, will be involved to help those doing the programme develop their skills. Applications close on July 19th.

You can find more information, including how to apply and a programme overview, here.
