Maintaining the hardgroove thrust of his previous releases, which caught the attention of heavyweights Om Unit and X-Coast – and earned him a coveted set at last summer’s Sziget festival – the London-born, Budapest-based producer fuses the unmistakable energy of ‘90s rave and breakbeat with grooving techno on his first outing of 2024.

A tight, bouncing groove and diva vocal emerge from beneath a thicket of percussion on ‘I Don’t Depend On You’; out tomorrow (9th January) and inspired by the cutting-edge techno releases on labels like R&S and XL Recordings. The track arrives on the heels of November single, ‘São Paulo’, as the producer establishes his reputation for contorting retro hardgroove stylings and slinking synths into a timeless techno form.
