Premiere: Silvie Loto ‘Follow Me’

Silvie Loto will release a new two-track EP, ‘Follow Me’, later this week via Cuttin’ Headz. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Follow Me’ below.

With the dust barely settled from her South American tour, as well as a debut appearance at Miami’s Club Space alongside fellow clubland luminary Chloé Caillet, Silvie Loto reboots her production arm with a double helping of deep, tantalising house. Arriving via The Martinez Bros’ Cuttin’ Headz label, the Italian DJ and producer’s first release since 2022 is a masterstroke in warped textures and percussive heft.

Title track ‘Follow Me’ is a heady oscillating cut, hinged around a wandering bassline and hooky female vocal, whilst ‘Is It Good’ answers its own question with a freewheeling, cybernetic breakdown. The deep, cavernous rave energy of Loto’s earlier releases – including her ‘Killing Time’ EP for Rhythm Cult – undoubtedly remains here, but with the addition of some full-bodied synth grooves and vocal experiments to really take things to the next level. Molto bene!

Speaking about the release, Loto said: “I wanted to create something that has all my favourite elements in one track: percussion, groove and a dominant bassline. ‘Follow Me’ is a track that can be played on big dancefloors but also at an afterparty in the day, offering different vibes for different locations. That’s something that I love about music; when tracks can adapt to different moments”

‘Follow Me’ is out 31st May via Cuttin’ Headz. Pre-order the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Follow Me’ below.
