Premiere: Shake Daddy ‘Feeling So’

AK Sports’ CLUB MADHOUSE label will release its debut V/A compilation next week. Have an exclusive first listen to Shake Daddy’s contribution ‘Feeling So’ below.

The 14-track collection – out 13th June – features a cast of eminent international exports and breakthrough Aussie talents innovating across the club music spectrum, from warped acid soundscapes and latin tech steppers through to hybrid hardstyle floor-fillers. It’s a glorious manifestation of the CLUB MADHOUSE label ethos, founded last summer as a space for femme, non-binary, and ally artists to showcase eccentric club sounds.

Label head and Rinse FM resident AK Sports delivers breakneck rave goodness on their contribution ‘Jump Into My Mind’ – featuring thundering kick-drums and twisted synth work – ahead of a tunnelling techno curveball from fellow Aussie Motez (‘Good 2 Go’) and bass-boosted hysteria from Colombia’s Lamediscos on ‘Papi’.

Elsewhere on the comp, rising Irish techno producers OliverTwisted and SMU serve up a duo of rave-licked bangers, crafted from kinetic beats and sizzling technoid drums, and Sydney-based Shake Daddy (aka Kyra Shaikh) showcases her latest sweaty, four-to-the-floor mix on ‘Feeling So’. Other featured artists include SMU, Kenneth Brigton, Skinner, RAVETRX, and loads more.

Though the label is only in its relative infancy – next week’s compilation marks the second release on the label following AK’s titular solo EP, released last August – CLUB MADHOUSE is shaping up to be a hotbed for genre-exploding sounds in the producer’s native Australia and beyond.

‘CLUB MADHOUSE_02’ is out 13th June. Pre-order the compilation here, and have an exclusive first listen to Shake Daddy’s ‘Feeling So’ below.
