Premiere: Mr. Redley ‘Tat For Ticc’

Mr. Redley is gearing up to release his debut EP, ‘Running Away’, next month. Have an exclusive listen to ‘Tat For Ticc’ below.

Having earned coveted tastemaker status on the airwaves of Rinse FM, where he currently holds down the station’s flagship Monday afternoon slot, the North London DJ and presenter is set to add yet another string to his music industry bow.

Landing next Friday (8th November), Mr. Redley’s inaugural EP will trace the “peaks and valleys” of his career through the medium of striding, acid-inflected house and techno. In keeping with the theme, the project takes cues from the cities that have shaped his taste, interfusing timeless Chicago house grooves and driving Detroit-devoted beats with the grittier club textures of his London upbringing.

Our pick of the bunch is the striding opener, ‘Tat For Ticc’, where Mr. Redley’s signature sound begins to reveal itself amidst a flurry of stomping drums, funk-fuelled bass and irresistible ’90s-coded synth work.

‘Running Away’ is out 8th November via Black Wine Club. Pre-order the EP here, and have an exclusive listen to ‘Tat For Ticc’ below.
