Premiere: E-Talking ‘Mystere de l’Amour’

Paramida’s Love On The Rocks label is toasting its 10th anniversary with a new V/A compilation, ‘Sky Is The Limit’. Have an exclusive first listen to E-Talking’s contribution ‘Mystere de l’Amour’ below.

The nine-track compilation – out later this week (7th June) –  embodies the notion of “chosen family at the heart of the label”, bringing together artists who have helped shape Love On The Rocks into a crucial outpost for warming club sounds. Joining the dots between blissful balearic, classic house and playful prog, the tracks on ‘Sky Is The Limit’ are connected by an ethereal thread, with atmospheric synths, velvety basslines and tender vocal samples peppered liberally throughout.

Featured artists include Massimiliano Pagliara and Fantastic Man, Alex Kassian, Running Hot, Sweely and Dreamphaze, and Berlin-based producer E-Talking, who serves up a sunkissed house heater (‘Mystere de l’Amour’) in the compilation’s closing phase.

“I never expected Love On The Rocks to make it to ten years,” Paramida shared on the milestone release. “Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end. When the time comes, I know what the last release will be. But it never feels like the right time. This compilation represents the past, present and future. It’s an inflection point. After this, anything is possible.”

In 2022, Paramida dropped the ‘Moonrise VII’ EP on Love On The Rocks label as the second part of a trilogy based around the moon calendar. The EP followed the Panorama Bar resident’s 2021 debut EP, ‘Dream Ritual’.

‘Sky Is The Limit’ is out 7th June via Love On The Rocks. Pre-order the compilation here, and have an exclusive first listen to E-Talking’s contribution ‘Mystere de l’Amour’ below.
