Premiere: ‘Dream Control’ Supergloss & Omon Breaker
Supergloss and Omon Breaker are releasing a new collaborative EP, ‘Visual Freak’, later this week via Hope For Daughters. Have an exclusive first listen to ‘Dream Control’ below.
Bonded by their love for early trance sounds, The Berlin-based duo of Supergloss and Kyiv-born Omon Breaker unveil five cuts of glimmering club gear on their inaugural collaborative project. Out tomorrow (15th), ‘Visual Freak’ focuses as much on groove as the adrenaline highs dominating both producer’s previous releases, layering stabby synth notes and duelling melodies over bold, excitable drum work.
From the keyed-up trancey techno of ‘Dream Control’ and mood-building rave NRG of ‘Not Your Type’, to the acid-dipped techno grooves of ‘Cyber Skin’ (which shamelessly shimmies into eurodance territory in its closing phase), this one’s a winner.
“Our idea was to underlay the playful melodies with a strong acid bassline to get lost in the layers,” Supergloss shared on the project. “It was important for us to integrate a lot of different elements and instruments so there’s always more to discover each time you listen to it.”
‘VISUAL FREAK’ is out 15th May via Hope For Daughters. Pre-save the EP here, and have an exclusive first listen to ‘Dream Control’ below.
