Premiere: Bi Disc ‘PIECES, FALLING (Tobi Neumann remix)’

Tobi Neumann is set to release a remix of Bi Disc’s ‘PIECES, FALLING’ later this week. Have an exclusive first listen below.

Following a colourful collaboration with Robert Owens and indie outfit Parcels on ‘Leaveyourlove’, released in November, the German house giant returns with a bumping new remix. The release flips ‘PIECES, FALLING’ – the lead single from Bi Disc’s recent debut album – into a subtle electronic heater, featuring undulating synths, punchy percussion and diced-up vocal samples.

It arrives alongside a club-friendly interpretation from US heavyweight Panda Bear, who introduces thumping, fast-tracked drums and seductive loops into Bi Disc’s original mix. 

The remix succeeds a series of colourful singles and edits from Tobi Neumann, including a collaborative EP with Saktu, Ogni and Maayan Nidam, ‘Flywing’, released last spring.
