Pendulum announce first new music in ten years

News

Pendulum have announced their first new music in ten years, and it’s dropping this week.

The trio’s new double A-side single ‘Nothing For Free/Driver’ will be released this Friday 17th September. ‘Driver’ will be premiered tomorrow on Triple J’s breakfast show (9pm-11pm BST), while ‘Nothing For Free’ will be debuted by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 on Thursday (7.00pm BST)

Rob Swire, one of the Australian drum & bass outfit’s founding members, teased the release by way of a fan’s twitter request for an update last week, promising that new music would be coming in ‘less than two weeks’.

Earlier this year, Swire’s Instagram page confirmed there would be new material coming from the band, and last week the troupe’s official Facebook page also hinted at the news. In 2019, Pendulum showcased  some as yet unreleased material during a live show in Perth.
