Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon, KAYTRANADA announced for Apple Music New Year’s Eve livestream

Apple Music has lined up Peggy Gou, Honey Dijon and KAYTRANADA for a New Year’s Eve livestream.

The Apple Music Live: NYE Sets will be streamed on Apple Music and Apple TV+ on Sunday 31st December from 7:00pm PT / 10:00pm ET. The sets will also be available to listen to in Apple Music’s DJ Mixes dedicated space. 

KAYTRANADA — who recently stepped in to produce the solo EP by AMAKA, ‘Oasis’ — will start the night off in “a house direction” before Honey Dijon — who back in June released a video for her single ‘Drama’ — takes the reins. 

“A New Year’s Eve mix is a fresh start, we’re going into a new chapter. So I try to bring that sense of lightness, freshness, joy, renewal, and fun,” says Dijon in a press release. “I just try to really bring my culture and my sound. I stand on so many incredible shoulders of black queer people who have created house music, so I always like to teach, entertain, and bring joy.”

Peggy Gou — who was voted the world’s No.1 house DJ in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs 2023 — will close the night out with a bang. “I don’t really like to talk about what to expect or what not to expect, so my fans should expect the unexpected in 2024.”
