Palestine’s Julmud announces debut album, ‘Tuqoos’, on Bilna’es

News

Palestinian producer, percussionist, keyboard player, vocalist and music researcher Julmud has announced details of his forthcoming debut album, ‘Tuqoos’, arriving 30th March 2022.

A prominent face in the Ramallah hip hop scene, the record is focused on heavy beats and raw textures of sound, thick basslines and reflective melodies, with some tracks aimed squarely at clubs and others ideally suited to headphones and home listening.

The album will be released via Bilna’es, a multi-disciplinary publishing platform established to support artists in live performance, installation, digital, and recorded work who practice with smaller networks and who wish to further their creative pursuits. The organisation is headed up by studio talent Muqata’a, and New York City-based visual artists Ruanne Abou-Rahme and Basel Abbas.

Take a listen to the first single from ‘Tuqoos’, ‘Falnukmel فلنكمل ‘ below.
