Outlook festival announces pay-what-you-can ticket scheme this week

Outlook is offering a pay-what-you-can discounted ticketing scheme for its two upcoming festivals in the UK and Croatia.

Ahead of the debut UK festival in Chesire, running from 30th June to 3rd July, and the flagship Origins event in Tisno 28th July to August 6th, Outlook is acknowledging the current cost-of-living crisis and offering fans the chance to apply for discounted tickets at varying rates.

“This year, the increased cost of living is making attending events a challenge for many people, and with the launch of our inaugural year of our first UK event, hosting all of our community is more important than ever,” the Outlook team wrote in a statement shared to Instagram.

“As independent promoters, we are also feeling the impact of these economic challenges but believe that ensuring our audience can still come together and celebrate the music we are passionate about is crucial,” the statement reads. “In the current climate, we appreciate that some of our audience simply will not be able to afford full price tickets to music events.”

The Outlook team hopes their audience will take this offer in good faith: “We ask for your honesty and support of one another and that you only apply if you genuinely cannot afford the current full price ticket.”

The inaugural edition of Outlook UK will host the likes of Kode9, SHERELLE, Congo Natty, Yung Singh, Scratchclart, NAINA, Ben UFO, Anz and more at Cholmondeley Castle next month. Outlook’s Origins line-up for The Garden Resort later this summer is still TBA.
