Ouri shares new double single, ‘Blueprints Of Us’ and ‘Tame Me’: Listen

Ouri has shared a new double single. You can listen to ‘Blueprints’ and ‘Tame Me’ below.

The release follows the Montreal artist’s collaborative EP, ‘i had this dream that you were my sister’ Antoniya, and spring 2023’s solo outing ‘Twin‘.

“I forget, remember and forget, but ultimately remember that we are all animated by the same indescribable thing called life. When we love each other, and when we ignore each other,” said Ouri of the new work.

“That’s the only thought that helps me integrate the discrepancy of human experiences on this planet. Creating a liminal space between the intangible world of music and the actual world we live in,” she contained. “I had the privilege of having Oli XL, Decz, Loukeman and John Debold’s touches support my vision for these two songs, a dream come true.”

This year, Ouri played support sets at dates on Yaeji’s North American tour. Her 2021 debut album, ‘Frame of a Fauna’, was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Jacques Greene’s remix of the album track ‘High & Choking Pt 1’ was nominated for a DJ Mag Best Of North America award. Her other projects have included ‘Hildegard’, a joint LP with Canadian pop singer Helena Deland.
