Special Request has remixed Orbital’s 1989 classic ‘Chime’.

Titled ‘Chime Re-Record (Special Request’s Remix)’, the rework was produced to be featured in new documentary ‘Better Days: The Story Of UK Rave’, about the UK’s long-standing rave music history.

The Hugo Jenkins-directed film pores over three decades of British rave culture and comes with a soundtrack produced by Overmono, while the likes of SHERELLE, Dance System and Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll also feature in the documentary, adding their thoughts.

“So lovely to hear ‘Chime’ with fresh ears presented by the fantastic Paul Woodford aka Special Request,” said Hartnoll in a statement about the remix. “One of our crown jewels in safe hands! Big thank you to Amazon Music for making this happen.”

‘Better Days: The Story Of UK Rave’ premiered on Twitch at the end of May, and is now available to watch on the Amazon Music app or via the Amazon Music YouTube channel.
