Dublin is getting a new experimental club night called Ethereal Skies.

The inclusive queer party’s first event takes place this Friday, 18th November, at new venue The Racket Space. London’s Dark0 and Cork City’s Capricorn lead the line-up, with support from cofounders and residents darkmavis and Sean Murray going back-to-back. Doors open 11 PM and music runs till 3 AM.

Still to come this season at The Racket Space are Sicaria Sound, EMA, Shy One, aya, Plastician, mooncup and more.

Irish nightclubs will soon be allowed to stay open until 6 AM. The licensing law reform is in the works in Ireland’s parliament, with approval expected to come in 2023. Earlier licensing laws required nightclubs close at 2:30 AM,
