Mumdance shares entire archive of releases, mixes, more

Mumdance has shared his entire archive of releases, live mixes, radio sessions, and podcasts, to his revamped website, alongside a statement about recent battles with addiction.

The collection comprises “316 mixes, many of them previously unheard, alongside a detailed archive of all work from 2008 onwards including equipment lists and sleeve notes for each track in the discography.”

Announcing the move on Twitter, Mumdance also went into detail about his three years of sobriety, and its effect on is relationship with music and production.

“When I went into recovery I didn’t listen to music for around two years. My only artistic relationship was some commercial work, alongside getting a normal job,” Mumdance wrote. “Over the last 12 months, I’ve slowly started to remember what I used to love about music. I have no real expectations of what comes next, but I’m grateful to have the beginnings of a healthier relationship with listening and creating.

“If you’re struggling with addition, taking the first step into recovery is a big one, but I’m certain you won’t regret it,” he continued. “There is a lot of help available. It’s free and it’s nothing to feel ashamed of.”

Sets played alongside names like DJ Die, DJ Storm, Riko Dan, Richie Hawtin, Shed, Speedy J, Finn, James Ruskin, Surgeon, Peverelist, and Nina Kraviz are all available to listen back to, among many other names including Logos, who co-founded the Different Circles label alongside Adams.
