Loraine James releases new album under Whatever The Weather alias: Listen

Loraine James has released her first album under her new alias, Whatever The Weather.

The self-titled record, out on Ghostly International, was first announced in February. Standing in contrast to her records under her given name for Hyperdub, ‘Whatever The Weather’ combines IDM with keyboard improvisations and vocal experimentation.

The new album marks James’ first appearance on Ghostly International, and is available digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl. James first revealed the record alongside lead track ’17°C’.
