Logic1000 announces new EP, 'In The Sweetness Of You', shares single: Listen

News

Logic1000 has revealed details of her next EP, ‘In The Sweetness Of You’.

Due out in November, the five-track EP sees her collaborate with yunè pinku and Big Ever, the latter of whom is fresh from a recent EP release on NYC label Incienso.

In The Sweetness Of You follows on from Logic1000’s last EP, ‘You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go’, as well as the recent digital-only singles ‘Safe In My Arms’/’YourLove’.

Ahead of the new EP’s release, the DJ and producer has shared the yunè pinku-featuring lead track, ‘What You Like’. Speaking about the track, which you can listen to below, and her collaborator, Logic1000 said: “Asha is such a talented artist with an incredible ear/ I’m so proud of this tune and so glad to have worked with her.”

Speaking more widely about the EP, she added: “The last EP I made, ‘You’ve Got The Whole Night To Go’, was very much a club and festival EP that would have been – if not for lockdown – perfect for playing out. But while making this EP, there was the potential that the songs could actually be played out in clubs and festivals – and there are definitely moments on this release that could be played out. However, most of the tracks are more for listening in a quieter setting.

“This wasn’t a conscious decision by any means, it was simply the product of experimentation and growth.”

‘In The Sweetness Of You’ will be released digitally on 12th November, with a full vinyl release set to follow via Logic1000’s own Therapy label on 19th November.
