Little Simz shares new single, ‘Hello, Hi’: Listen

Little Simz is kicking off 2025 with a new single titled ‘Hello, Hi’. Listen to it below.

It seems the London star is giving fans a taster of what more is likely to come this year, having cleared out all public posts to her Instagram account save for the recent single announcement.

The track is produced by SHYY and Rigas, according to NME, with lyrics looking back on her career trajectory: “Neighbours can’t believe how a Black woman got this far / But they rate it still, I was chasing dangerous thrills”. 

This is Little Simz’s first new solo music since her surprise EP ‘Drop 7’ in February 2024. She teamed up with Sampha on the ‘Satellite Business 2.0‘ single back in July, and featured on Wretch 32’s ‘Black and British‘ alongside Benjamin A.D in October, as well as Coldplay’s August single ‘We Pray‘ with Burna Boy, Elyanna and Tini. Her last studio album was 2022’s ‘No Thank You‘.
