Legendary Midlands club night Godskitchen announces 25th anniversary party
Iconic Midlands club night Godskitchen has revealed plans to celebrate its 25th anniversary later this year.
Taking place on 17th December, the club night will return from a six-year hiatus with a three-room event at the 3,000-capacity Birmingham warehouse Crane.
The ten-hour event will host some of trance’s biggest names in the main room, including Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Mauro Picotto, Judge Jules, Tall Paul and Godskitchen residents AJ Gibson and Daniel Soto.
The Basement will host Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Misstress Barbara and Paul Thomas for a Midweek Sessions Presents… takeover, while the Backroom will feature sets from Carl Kennedy and former Godskitchen resident Chris Turner, among others.
In a statement about bringing Godskitchen back to Birmingham for the one-off event, Mark Gillespie, a former employee of the promoter and now custodian of the brand, said: “Birmingham is such an important part of Godskitchen’s history. It’s incredible to see so many of the people that helped build the club come together to make this happen.”
Godskitchen launched in Birmingham in 1997 and went on to establish itself as a global superclub brand, putting on parties and festivals at various locations.

Godskitchen headliner Paul van Dyk will also return to the UK next month to play at London’s Printworks, where he’ll bring his SHINE concept to the venue.
Earlier this year, another guest of the party, Ferry Corsten, became the third Dutch DJ to be knighted by the Dutch King for his contribution to the nation’s music industry.
