Lady Shaka shares ‘E Tu’ remix EP featuring KARAN!, Caru and Angel X: Listen

Lady Shaka has dropped a remix EP of her ‘E Tu’ single.

Brazil-based KARAN!, Aotearoa/New Zealand-based Caru and US-based artists Angel X feature on the four-track project, which spans energetic-funk, UKG and rhythmic, atmospheric club music.

“It is always a beautiful thing to see how others interpret your music and create something that is completely different. It has been an honour working with Karan! Caru and Angel X. I cannot wait to see dance floors packed to each of their remixes. Ngā mihi nunui kia koutou!”, said Shaka in a press statement.

‘E Tu’ was released as the artist’s debut single earlier this year on Nina Las Vegas’ NLV Records and described as a “fierce rallying cry of protest” inspired by the DJ and interdisciplinary artist’s Afro Pasifika heritage.
