Kraftwerk announce ‘Autobahn’ 50th anniversary tour

Kraftwerk have announced a tour of North America to mark 50 years since the release of their classic record ‘Autobahn’.

The run of 27 shows will stretch across March and April, beginning at Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall on 6th March and rounding up at Dallas’ Majestic Theatre on 24th April. Between those gigs, they will play across the US and Canada, and also perform at both weekends of next year’s Coachella festival.

In addition to celebrating 50 years since the release of ‘Autobahn’, the multimedia shows will also mark five decades since the German electronic music pioneers first toured the US. The run of gigs in 2025 follows on from the group playing nine special ‘Autobahn’-focused live shows at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall earlier this year.

To promote the tour, Kraftwerk have shared a special video created by and featuring skateboarding pioneer Tony Hawk, who is a fan of the group. You can watch it below.

Tickets for the North America shows go on sale on Friday, 13th December at 10am local time. Fans can sign up for pre-sale access here.
