KI/KI has released a new single, ‘Getting Ready For The Party’, in collaboration with vocalist Storm Mollison. Listen to it below.
Known for her invigorating take on techno, trance and acid, the Dutch star’s new single has been a staple in her recent DJ sets. KI/KI pairs Mollison’s smooth but commanding vocals with elements of trance and classic hard house toughness for a pre-party energy boost.
Speaking about the track, KI/KI commented: “I love exploring contrasts – calm versus chaos, personal moments versus collective energy. The pre-game is where it all starts – this is the soundtrack to that electric moment of transition.”
The new single arrives after a flurry of remix activity for the artist, including takes on Charli XCX and Billie Eilish’s ‘Guess’ and Felix’s classic ‘Don’t You Want Me’, as well as the previous release on her own slash label, ‘slash 010’.
